With great food and the personality to match, the Cervantes family has enthusiastically brought a tasty piece of the Mexican culture to Stoughton for the past nine years at El Rio Grande. The restaurant, located at 524 W. Main St., is run by siblings Cesar, Joel and Erika Cervantes. Joel is the main cook, and the man to blame for that mid-afternoon craving for one of their enchiladas or burritos. Cesar is the guy behind the welcoming atmosphere and the employee T-shirts with the humorous catch phrases like, "Our Chimmies will make you chubby!" Erika brings the customer service that gives customers their food quickly and leaves them smiling.
We would like to personally thank all of our customers and the entire Stoughton community, because without you, there would be no El Rio.
